Special Session at ICL-GNSS 2022.

Organizers

  • Dr. Wafa BENAATOU, ENSA, Cadi Ayyad University, Marrakech, Morocco
  • Dr. Luis Tello-Oquendo, National University of Chimborazo, Riobamba, Ecuador
  • Dr. Mouloud Khelf, Department of Transport Engineering, University of Constantine 1, Constantine, Algeria

Rationale/Content

The rapid development and implementation of applications for IoT in industry and logistics involve smart city environments. Intelligent autonomous systems imply important techniques, approaches, and applications that can be used to build reliable and efficient artificial intelligence (AI) software systems. On the other hand, the benefits of navigation and positioning techniques include:
i) to provide reliable and accurate position information with low latency;
ii) to ensure better efficiency and reliable workflows;
iii) to improve and make safety decisions by using intelligent autonomous systems.
The session on Intelligent Autonomous Systems and Positioning Techniques for industrial IoT and logistics addresses the advances in all aspects of IoT in industry and logistic applications based on GNSS positioning and the technology for analysis in autonomous systems, AI for intelligent autonomous robots and vehicles, ad-hoc network, wireless and sensor-based localization. The technical areas include but are not limited to the following:

• Application of GNSS Positioning
• Localization techniques
• AI software systems
• Wireless and sensor-based localization
• Internet of Things in industry and logistic applications
• Vehicular Ad-hoc Network
• Smart manufacturing robots
• Machine Learning for Intelligent Autonomous Robots
• Autonomous Intelligent Vehicles (AIV)
• Cellular connectivity solutions for IoT applications
• Deep learning for autonomous vehicles
