Practical info for Atlanta hub

The Atlanta hub will take place in Atlanta, US, organized by Associate Professor Jennifer Patico (Georgia State University).

Please register for the Atlanta hub here.

For those who plan to attend on-site:

Georgia State University is located in downtown Atlanta, a 15-minute drive from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Options for transport from the airport to downtown include the MARTA commuter train (23 minutes from the airport to Five Points Station, $2.50) as well as Lyft and Uber (about $20).

There are many hotels and airbnb’s available locally. For easiest transport, you might opt for something downtown (closest to campus), midtown (closer to the High Museum and other attractions), or in the somewhat quieter neighborhoods to the east of downtown on the MARTA line (Inman Park, Candler Park and East Lake stations). Decatur is a small city/college town to the east of Atlanta that is full of walkable restaurant options, etc., and is a 15-minute MARTA ride to downtown.
