"MORNING WORKSHOPPERS": Co-creative workshops 1-3 (Linna Building, rooms K108-K110, Kalevantie 4, -1 Floor)

(The Linna Building is located across the street, and the workshop rooms are best reached via a pedestrian tunnel outside the Main Building. The tunnel takes you in front of the entrance of the -1 floor lobby, where the workshop rooms are found. For a guided walk, meet outside Lecture Theatre A1 at 10:00)

There is a group code (such as AM1a) next to your name in the program booklet’s list of participants. If it begins with “AM” it means you belong to the “morning workshopper” groups, and should head toward Linna Building.

When reaching Linna Building, you only need to know the room where your small group starts (see below). You will work in each room for 30 minutes, then change to the next as guided by the facilitators, continuing to work in the same groups through all the rooms.

  • Groups AM1a, AM1b start at Room K108: Imagining holistically sustainable technologies for continence care
  • Groups AM2a, AM2b start at Room K109: Imagining holistically sustainable infrastructures for continence care
  • Groups AM3a, AM3b start at Room K110: Imagining holistically sustainable policies and practices for continence care

If the code next to your name in the list of participants starts with “PM”, it means you stay in the Main Building until lunch. See the next block for your morning program.

10:15-12:05

"AFTERNOON WORKSHOPPERS": Utopian thinking; Video recordings; Talk with the exhibitors (Inside/outside Lecture Theatre A1, Main Building)

There is a group code (such as PM1a) next to your name in the program booklet’s list of participants. If it begins with”PM” it means you belong to the “afternoon workshopper” groups and should stay in the Main Building until lunch.

Here, you have a few options for your program.

(1) Record a short (5 min) video presentation or a pitch talk on the theme “What is sustainable continence care?” in the Lecture Theatre A1. The videos will be published on a Youtube channel devoted to the theme after the event. The slots for the recording should have been booked in advance (as instructed in the welcoming email previous week), but if you have not booked your slot, ask, and we can try and fit you in. You may also choose to record your own video, and provide it to us later. We will provide instructions after the event on where and how to upload these videos.

(2) Outside Lecture Theatre A1, there is a Utopia Gallery, which is meant to invite you to think about your own utopian future for sustainable continence care. In the gallery, you will find some inspirational materials along with instructions for a writing task, which you can write and return now, or begin today, continue later, and submit by the end of May. The writing task can be completed by using an electronic submission form behind this link (using your own device).  Alternatively, you may want to use handwriting, using the forms available in the gallery. You can also write a postcard to your future self – or some other person in the future that you wish would hear your dreams about sustainable continence care. (NB: The Utopia Gallery is open also for online participants, instructions sent via email to those registered to the online event.)

(3) You can also just take your time to network with other participants and the exhibitors, or sit down in the Lecture Theatre to follow the presentations that other participants record for our Youtube channel.
