Participation fees
Participation fee (accommodation in a single room) 950 EUR
Participation fee (accommodation in a twin room) 750 EUR
There are 4 and 6 person apartments with twin rooms available in Vanajanlinna. The room pricing is the same as for twin and single room stated above. If you would like to stay in the same apartment with a certain research group or some other group of participants, please give the names of the participants you wish to stay with on the form.
The participation fees include accommodation at Vanajanlinna, breakfasts, lunches, coffee breaks, dinners, activities and transportation from Hämeenlinna train station to Vanajanlinna and back with a shuttle bus. The fees are VAT 0 % (VAT will not be added).
Payment
The participation fee(s) are paid when registering for the event. The payment is made with a credit card (no additional charges). A payment receipt will be sent to you by e-mail. Participants living in Finland and having Finnish banking options can also choose invoicing (bank transfer) or online banking as their payment method. The system sends the invoice automatically after the registration has been completed. Please make sure that the invoicing details are accurate.
Cancellation policy
According to sustainability principles and to avoid food waste, please cancel your registration if you cannot attend the conference or the dinner(s). For cancellations received by 28 February 2025, the paid participation fees will be fully refunded. No refund will be made for cancellations made after this date. No refunds will be made for no-shows. Participation that has already been registered can be transferred to another person from the same organisation without any extra charge. Cancellations and requests for refunds and registration transfers must always be made by email to congress@tuni.fi.
