Wiley workshop: How to publish in high-impact (factor) journals?

Always wanted to publish in high-impact (factor) journals? Which journal do you choose from in the ever-increasing number of publishers and their journals? Do you wonder how to write a paper and how to add (more) impact to your paper? Many tips will be given on how to make your submission (even) better! This talk will demystify the publishing process by opening the black-box of submissions, peer-reviewing, and editorial decisions. Please bring all your questions!

Jolke Perelaer studied chemistry at Utrecht University in the Netherlands and obtained his Ph.D. also in the Netherlands from the Eindhoven University of Technology in 2009. He continued as a postdoc at the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena, Germany, focusing on printed electronics, micro-patterning techniques and nanotechnology. In 2013 he joined the blue & white books department at Wiley-VCH as acquisition editor. In 2016 he joined the Materials Science journals’ team as a peer-review editor for a variety of Advanced journals. Currently, he is the Editor in Chief for Advanced Materials Interfaces as well as Deputy Editor for Advanced Materials Technologies.
