Oral Presentation Guidelines
- Each oral presentation is allocated 20 minutes, including 5 minutes for questions.
- Presenters are encouraged to use their own laptops if possible. If you require a laptop, please inform the conference assistant in your lecture hall well in advance.
- Please arrive at your session room at least 5–10 minutes before the session to check in with the chair and test your laptop and slides.
- During the session, follow the chair’s time signals and ensure that your presentation concludes within the allotted time.
Poster Presentation Guidelines
- Please display your poster after registration and remove it on the final day of the conference.
- Poster size: A0 (841 mm × 1189 mm), portrait (vertical) orientation.
- Template: No official poster template is required.
- Posters should include sufficient characterization of materials, surface/topography, and clear descriptions of test methods.
- Please note that your poster will be evaluated for the Nordtrib Poster awards
Quick Tips for a Scientific Poster
- Focus on One Key Message – Keep it clear and simple.
- Use Visuals – Prefer graphs and images over text.
- Limit Text – Short bullet points, large readable fonts.
- Organize Content – Title, Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions.
- Choose Colors Wisely – High contrast, 2–3 colors max.
- Make It Self-Explanatory – Assume viewers read the poster without you.
- Add Contact Info – Name, affiliation, email.
- Check Before Printing – Test layout, image quality, and readability.
