Laboratory tours

You have the possibility to visit the tribology laboratories at Tampere University and at VTT (Espoo) on special laboratory tours. You need to sign up for these tours separately, and only a limited number of places are available. These special tours are available exclusively to Nordtrib participants. Both laboratories are easily reached by public transportation.

Tribology laboratory tour at Tampere University, Hervanta Campus

When: Tuesday 9.6.2026 at 9.00-10.00 and 10.00-11.00 and Friday 12.6.2026 at 14.00-15.00
Where: Tampere University, Hervanta campus, Konetalo (lobby), Korkeakoulunkatu 6, Tampere

Tribology laboratory tour at VTT, Espoo

When: Monday 8.6.2026 at 14.30-16.30
Where: VTT FutureHub, Tekniikantie 21, Espoo
