The abstract submission deadline for the oral presentations was on February 15th. We still accept abstract submissions for posters. The poster abstract submission deadline is on 30 April 2026.
The maximum length for the one-page abstract for NORDTRIB 2026 must follow the provided abstract template. The title of the abstract file should be formed: Lastname_Firstname_First words of the title.docx. The abstract must be in English.

All abstracts will undergo peer review and the accepted abstracts will be published as an e-publication proceedings.
Note: At least one author of an accepted abstract must register for the conference to present the study. Only presentations and posters by registered participants will be included in the programme. Registration must be completed before the early bird deadline on 30 April 2026.

Journals
NORDTRIB 2026 is collaborating with several publishers. Selected papers will have the opportunity to be published in leading journals, including Wear, Journal of Tribology, Advanced Engineering Materials, and Tribologia – Finnish Journal of Tribology.
Those authors who have expressed their intention to publish a full length article when they have submitted the abstract, will be contacted during April 2026 for further information.

If you do not receive acknowledgement for your abstract acceptance or you wish to make any essential revisions to an abstract already submitted, please DO NOT RESUBMIT your abstract, as this may lead to duplication. Contact kati.valtonen@tuni.fi for instructions.
