Note that the audience in the MET Research Day is multidisciplinary and the aim of the event is to facilitate cooperation between the disciplines and research groups.
To engage the evaluators (and later your audience), make sure your abstract explains what you research, why it’s important, and the main results. Emphasize the problem, its importance, your goals, and your conclusions in a way that’s clear to researchers from different fields, avoiding jargon.
