ACCOMMODATION
Local Secretariat will provide a free accommodation for the GA students at Forenom Aparthotel Tampere in Triple rooms with three single beds.
If there is any student in need of more privacy, he/she may stay in Lapland Hotels Tampere at his/her own expense. Please contact congress@tuni.fi for further information.
MEALS
With the exception of the weekend, the Local Secretariat will also provide the lunches.
TRAVELING
In addition, the Local Secretariat may cover the travel expenses for the students. We regret to inform that, due to limited budgetary resources of the Local Secretariat, the travel funding will be awarded selectively on the basis of applications.
Those who apply also travel support must submit a separate document titled Application for a Travel Grant from TAU. In this application, the need for support must be clearly argued and specified, and an applicant must provide an estimate of the amount required for travel expenses using the most inexpensive travel options possible. As available funds will not cover all students’ expenses, applicants are encouraged to raise their own travel funding, when possible. Students from lower-middle and low-income countries will be prioritized when awarding the travel grants.
