ENS Science Day

We are excited to invite you to ENS Science Day 2026, the 5th Science Day of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences which is arranged for the faculty staff.

This year’s theme, “AI” brings together faculty members, and researchers for a full day of inspiration, learning, and networking.

The interactive program features:

Keynotes on AI:  today and tomorrow

Discussion on AI Regulations, Practical Applications, Law and Ethics

AI workshops on various themes

Networking opportunities with peers and colleagues

The event will take place at Tampere Hall (Tampere-talo) on 17th December 2026 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The chair of the ENS Science Day 2026 is Vice Dean for Research Minnamari Vippola.

More information about the event, along with a separate registration link will be sent later in the autumn.

An evening get-together party will follow the Science Day. We invite you to join the dinner event and celebrate the success of the vibrant ENS community in Tampere Hall (Tampere-talo) from 7 pm (registration starts at 6:30 pm).

The ENS Science Day and the Get Together Party are free of charge. The events are open only for the personnel of the ENS faculty, and needs registration. You can register for both events or just one.
