Merja Särkioja (Research Council of Finland) verified as Keynote speaker for ENS Science Day

Merja Särkioja serves as a senior science adviser at the Research Council of Finland. In this role, she has been responsible for overseeing research infrastructure operations for over a decade. She holds the position of the secretariat head for the Finnish Research Infrastructure Committee and represents Finland in ESFRI, HEU RI program committee, and ERIC committee. Additionally, Merja has been invited as an expert or speaker in numerous national and international working groups focused on research infrastructures. With a background in biomedicine, she holds a Ph.D. from the University of Helsinki’s medical faculty.
