The promovendi register for the event by filling in an electronic form.
Please give the details of your companion (plus-one) using the same form at the time of registration or by 31 January 2027 at the latest. You can add your companion or edit your own or your companion’s details via the link you will receive in the email that confirms your registration.
You may register for the Doctoral Conferment even if your doctoral degree is still incomplete provided you think that you will complete all the required study attainments by 29 January 2027. A doctoral degree is regarded as completed if the Faculty Council has approved your dissertation, you have completed all required studies in the doctoral degree and have applied for your degree certificate via the Sisu system.
The event will accommodate up to 130 doctoral conferees, with places allocated in the order of registration. If the participant quota is already full when you want to register, you may register for the waiting list.
Participation fee
The participation fee is €390 per person. The fee is paid at the time of registration. The fee is the same for the promovendi and their companion (plus-one) and it covers all the events included in the programme between 11 and 13 June 2027, regardless of whether you participate in the entire program. It is not possible to pay for the different sections of the program separately.
Cancellation policy
You may cancel your participation without a specific reason by 31 January 2027. In that case you will receive a full reimbursement of the fee you have paid. After 31 January 2027, participation may be cancelled and participation fees refunded only for exceptionally compelling reasons, such as health-related reasons supported by a medical certificate. The participation fee will not be refunded for cancellations made after 30 April 2027.

Promovendi’s other guests
Promovendi can bring one companion (plus-one) and one other guest to the Main Auditorium for the Conferment Ceremony on Saturday 12 June at 13.00-15.00 and invite 3 other guests to watch the ceremony in a lecture hall where the main event will be streamed live. No fees will be charged of the guests.
