We will hold an informal discussion session for PhD researchers working in the broad field of Environmental Social Science. The discipline is vast even within Finnish research community. Still, the opportunities for discuss the research work and the subjects with colleagues from other universities is not common. Therefore, our purpose is to provide an opportunity to such discussion and networking. You are very welcome to participate whether you are just starting your PhD studies or are already longer in your PhD journey.
The main emphasis of the event will be on socializing and networking. However, we ask participants to provide us with preliminary tittle and up to three key words of PhD research, and subject(s) you are interested in discussing during the event. These can include subjects of career, methodology, research subject etc. Facilitators of the event use the information to create a structure for the discussion. Prepare to briefly introduce your subject of research to the group.
