Maki Celiac Disease Tampere Prize
Request for Nominations for the 5th Maki Celiac Disease Tampere Prize
Deadline: March 1, 2025
The Maki Celiac Disease Tampere Prize (EUR 15,000) is an award, which is acknowledged to an individual whose research has made a significant contribution to the fields of celiac disease and other gluten-induced disease entities. An international review committee of experts will select the recipient based on his/her clinical, translational and transformative research. The Tampere University will not notice previous recipients of the Warren Prize in Celiac Disease.
Nominations are open worldwide and considered from individuals, nominees, universities, institutions and companies.
To submit a nomination, please send:
- A signed nomination letter
- Summary (maximum 3 pages) of the nominee’s scientific achievements and significance to health care, industry, public in general and to the celiac community. This summary should also include Web of Science citation report: Number of publications at a certain date, the sum of times cited and h-index
- Short CV (maximum 3 pages)
- List of 20 selected publications and patents
The awardee will be notified of the Prize latest by April 30th, 2025.
The award will be announced on September 11, 2025, at the Tampere Celiac Disease Symposium 2025 – Personalized Medicine, in Arvo Building, Tampere University, Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology, Tampere, Finland, where the laureate will give a keynote lecture presenting his/her research.
