Workshops: Basic microsurgical and endovascular skills

The basic microsurgical and the endovascular skills workshops will be organized as dry-lab hands-on training courses at the conference venue. The main course day is Sunday, May 10th but the opportunity for guided training continues during the whole conference until May 13th.

Topics covered in the workshops will include:

1) Introduction to basic microsurgical techniques:
* Bone drilling
* Subarachnoid dissection
* Subpial intra-axial dissection

2) Training for basic endovascular techniques with phantoms

These didactic workshops are especially well-suited to neurosurgical residents but open to all interested.
