PARTICIPATION RIGHT
The competition is open for everyone. Photographs have to be taken by the participant and the participant must have all rights to the photographs.
TIME
The competition is open on 29 August – 13 September 2019.
PARTICIPATION
Participation takes place by sending the photograph through Instagram (@tampereuni), Twitter (@TampereUni) or Facebook (@TampereUniversity). The photograph should concern a first-hand, seen, heard or jointly solved problem or a way of solving the problem. Participation is only possible through an open social media account. The hashtags #ihminenratkaisee or #humanpotentialunlimited and #kuvaaratkaisu have to be used.
PRIZES AND INFORMING OF WINNER
A jury set by Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences assesses the photographs and selects the winner. The winner is informed of through Twitter, Facebook or Instagram depending on the media used for sending the photograph. Members of the jury are: Creative Director Leena Periaho (KASKI Agency) and photographers Ossi Ahola (Aamulehti), Jonne Renvall (Tampere University), and Senior Lecturer Antti Haapio (TAMK).
PRIZES AND THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
A jury appointed by Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences will review all submissions and select the winners. The winners will be notified via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, depending on the medium they used to submit their photo. The jury will be made up of Creative Director Leena Periaho (KASKI Agency) and photographers Ossi Ahola (Aamulehti) and Jonne Renvall (Tampere University).

OTHER CONDITIONS
Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences reserve the right to changes in the competition, its rules, prizes, time and other factors affecting the competition implementation without a separate notice. Changes are informed of at tuni.fi/avajaisviikko.
If persons on photographs are identifiable, the photographer must have their consent to photograph publication.
The competition is not sponsored, recommended, administered or otherwise related to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or other social media services. Participants commit themselves to release Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media channels from all competition-related obligations and demands.
Photographs may not include any abusive, criminal or unethical material or violate privacy protection.
