Participation fees

(VAT 0 %, no VAT will be added to the fees)

Full member 430 EUR (530 EUR from 1 March onwards)*
Non-member 540 EUR (640 EUR from 1 March onwards)
Student member 300 EUR (375 EUR from 1 March onwards)*
Student non-member 345 euro (455 EUR EUR from 1 March onwards)
Emeritus/Emerita member 300 EUR (375 EUR from1 March onwards)*
Emeritus/Emerita non-member 345 EUR (455 EUR EUR from 1 March onwards)
Accompanying persons (social events only) 100 EUR

* IRSPM membership number is required

The student rate applies to undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students. The emeritus/emerita rate applies to academics to whom this title has been formally awarded. Please note that proof of status is required in registrations with these participation categories.

The participation fee includes:

  • admission to all scientific sessions
  • scheduled lunches and coffee breaks during the conference
  • IRSPM membership valid until 31 March 2025
  • discount subscription to PMR and a range of Routledge journals
  • Welcome Reception on Monday 15 April, City of Tampere Reception on Tuesday 16 April (max 400 participants) and the Gala Dinner on Wednesday 17 April

Invitation letters:

In order to obtain the Invitation letter for Visa purposes, please indicate this on the registration form.

• Please note that the participation fee needs to be paid before the invitation letter can be issued.
• Please do not request invitation letters per email. Due to the large number of received emails regarding conference arrangements, we are not able to answer emailed invitation letter requests.
• The invitation letter will be issued within a few days subsequent to the request on the registration form and the payment.

Payment

The participation fee(s) are paid when registering for the event. The payment is made with a credit card (no additional charges). A payment receipt will be sent to you by e-mail. Finnish participants can also choose invoicing (bank transfer) or online banking as their payment method. The system sends the invoice automatically after the registration has been completed. Please make sure that the invoicing details are accurate.

Cancellation policy

According to sustainability principles and to avoid food waste, please cancel your registration if you cannot attend the conference or the social events. For cancellations received by 17 March 2024, the paid participation fees will be fully refunded. No refund will be made for cancellations made after this date. No refunds will be made for no-shows. The dinner and museum visit fees will not be refunded separately if a participant cancels their participation to the dinner and/or museum visit. Participation that has already been registered can be transferred to another person from the same organisation without any extra charge. Cancellations and requests for refunds and registration transfers must always be made by email to congress@tuni.fi.
