Jan-Erik Johanson is Professor of Administrative Science and Director of Research Group on Public Governance at Tampere University, Finland. Jan-Erik is currently engaged in the examination of hybridity and strategy formation in government. Jan-Erik has compiled nine books and over 100 pieces of research. Network thinking and relational perspective signify cross-cutting themes of his interests. His recent books include Finnish Administration (with E.Pekkola and M. Mykkänen, eds, Palgrave), Hybrid Governance, Organisations and Society (with J. Vakkuri, eds, Routledge) and Strategy Formation and Policy Making in Government (Palgrave).

 

Íris Santos is a post-doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Administration and Business, Tampere University, Finland. Her work focuses on the international dynamics of development cooperation for education, more specifically. Her research interests are diverse, focusing on education policymaking, the dynamics of global-national-local networks of actors involved in education governance and policy, global citizenship education and sustainable development from a critical post-colonialist point of view. She has published in high quality journals such as Journal of Education Policy or International Journal of Educational development.

 

Luiz Alonso de Andrade, MSc./MPP, is a doctoral researcher at the administrative sciences unit in the Faculty of Management and Business, Tampere University, Finland. Luiz’s recent research targets social policy, street-level bureaucrats, universal basic income, digitalisation and hybridity in higher education, welfare service co-production and digital self-services. Luiz is also a Brazilian social security civil servant on leave, where he led diverse collaborative governance and digitalisation projects. 

 

 

Marjukka Mikkonen is a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Management and Business. Her research interests include management, leadership and governance in (sport)organizations and gender. In addition, she has studied platform-based business models, especially in business-to-business context. She published in academic journals and edited volumes such including Sport in Society, International Journal of Sport Policy and Politics, Administrative Sciences and Routledge.
