Registration and fees

Please register for the conference by 25 August with this form. 

Every paper accepted to the conference must have at least one registered author by 5th July 2026. One registration covers one paper.

The early bird fees are valid for registrations before 11 July, and the regular fees from 11 July until 14 September.

The fees include the conference programme, scheduled coffees and lunches, City of Tampere reception on 15 September and the dinner at Restaurant Näsinneula on 16 September. The fees are VAT 0 % (VAT will not be added).

Payment

The participation fee(s) are paid when registering for the event. The payment is made by credit card (no additional charges). A payment receipt will be sent to you by e-mail. If invoicing (bank transfer) is needed, please contact congress@tuni.fi

Cancellation policy

According to sustainability principles and to avoid food waste, please cancel your registration if you cannot attend the conference. For cancellations received by 25 August 2026, the paid participation fees will be fully refunded. No refund will be made for cancellations made after this date. No refunds will be made for no-shows. Participation that has already been registered can be transferred to another person from the same organisation without any extra charge. Cancellations and requests for refunds and registration transfers must always be made by email to congress@tuni.fi.

Visa information

Participants who require a visa to enter Finland should first complete their registration for the I3E 2026. After registration, participants can request an invitation letter for visa application from the congress office of Tampere University via email: i3e2026@gmail.com
