Tampere University is partnering with the Global Network for Health in All Policies (GNHiAP) to bring you a stimulating 2-day seminar in Tampere Finland.
The seminar will bring together insights on Health in All Policies (HiAP) and on the social and commercial determinants affecting health and equity. It will explore current sustainability challenges in the practice of HiAP as well as the intersections between social protection for all and HiAP. It will address questions on how to enable HiAP approaches to advocate for equity and social policies to ensure sustainability and broader uptake of HiAP to address the social determinants of health. In addition to examining these contemporary issues, we will also celebrate the launch of the Tampere University WHO Collaboration Centre on Health in All Policies and the Social Determinants of Health with particular focus on social protection and the interface between health and social policies in its workplan. The seminar program also includes dedicated time for planning the GNHiAP next 2–3-year program of work.
The meeting is held in Tampere, Finland, the biggest inland city in Nordic countries, and the most popular city in Finland, set between two beautiful lakes. The meeting includes a poster session for researchers and practitioners.
