The two-day conference Waste Matters: The Many Afterlives of Junk will take place in the city of Helsinki, Finland, at the trendy cultural house Kaapelitehdas (an old cable factory building). The Valssaamo gallery space is reserved for us for the whole conference, and some paper presentation sessions will take place in smaller meeting rooms.
