The fifth national doctoral education day 8.10.2020 will be organized online!

The fifth Finnish national doctoral education day again welcomes all those with keen interest in developing doctoral education: heads of Doctoral Schools and doctoral programmes, administrators, supervisors and doctoral researchers alike are all welcome. The online one-day event consists of expert lectures and parallel thematic sessions and provides one key venue to discuss new challenges and developing practices in doctoral education. What are the effects and challenges set by Covid-19? What will doctoral education and Doctoral Schools look like in 2030? Where do new PhDs find employment, and what are the next steps in graduate tracking in Europe? The Doctoral Education Day provides opportunities to discuss and share best practice, and to network with a rich range of experts and actors within the field of doctor education. Welcome!
