Professor Anne Berman

Professor of Clinical Psychology, Uppsala University, Karolinska Institute

Professor Berman works in the fields of clinical and health psychology and forensic psychology. She is also currently President of the International Society of Behavioral Medicine. In her research she investigates digital interventions to reduce the treatment gap for mental disorders among university students and addictive behaviors among students and adults.  Her research focuses also on motivational interviewing as a tool to treat addictions and other issues.

Professor Anssi Peräkylä

Academy Professor, University of Helsinki

Professor Peräkylä works in fields of sociology, psychotherapy, as well as clinical and social psychology. His research focuses on social interactions, emotions and empathy in various everyday life and therapeutic contexts. In one of his current projects, he is working as Academy Professor at the Academy of Finland, researching how narcissistic problems shape social interaction.

Professor Ann Weatherall

Head of School of Psychology, Bedfordshire University

Professor Weatherall works in fields of social and discursive psychology and feminist psychology. Her research focuses on developing critical and qualitative methodologies to study crucial societal topics that influence social interactions, including age, gender, embodiment, emotion, identity, sexism, and violence against girls and women. One of her most recent projects, The Talk and The Body, investigates gendered violence prevention through empowerment self-defence trainings.
