Programme

Researchers’ Night extends across the city centre and university campuses in Tampere. With a diverse programme of presentations, info sessions and workshops on scientific topics, the event offers much to see, do and explore for the whole family.

This year one of the main venues is the shopping centre Ratina, where scientists introduce the audience to their latest research and offer them the opportunity to explore, for example, different robotics and virtual reality applications. Younger visitors will enjoy science centre Heureka’s pop-up science show.

A programme of lectures at the university city centre campus offers interesting activities from teenagers to elderly people. Later in the evening, science meets stand-up comedy when courageous scientists are once again pitted against each other to deliver the most entertaining presentation on their research topic.

The event is free and open to all. Welcome!
