9-15 PhD Seminar: Research Methods and Ethics

The Open Day starts with the multidisciplinary PhD Seminar on Research Methods and Ethics. The registration is closed, and the event is full. PhD Seminar participants, remember to send the pre-assignment by 27 October!
15:30- TULE Future Senior Housing Seminar
Venue: Paidia, Kansikatu 3, Nokia Arena
In the afternoon, there will be a seminar organized by the TULE project (Future Senior Housing / Tulevaisuuden senioriasuminen) in Paidia. Read more and register here: TULE seminar.
15:30-17 Aukio Launch Party
Venue: Lyhty pavilion, Kalevantie 4, Tampere University)
Parallel to TULE Seminar, the Finnish Aukio e-journal launches its theme issue on Caring Cities, which we will celebrate with snacks and sparkling offered by the TURNS Research Platform. No registration required. The special issue can be read here (in Finnish).
18:30- Radical Care Evening Gathering
Venue: Vastavirta Club, Pispalan valtatie 39
The Open Day ends with the Radical Care Evening Gathering, that is, the post-party of ATUT Symposium / pre-party of Re-City Conference at the Vastavirta Club. No registration required; drinks and food are at one’s own cost. The evening includes a documentary, panel discussion, live music, and of course good company!
