Welcome to the Re-City Conference on 30-31 October 2025! Re-City Conference program can be found here, including the sessions schedule: Re-City Program. You can upload the full program as a pdf from that same page. During the conference, there will be QR code on your name tag where you can easily find the latest program.
We will publish a separate Re-City abstract book one week prior to the conference on the program page. We will inform the participants when the abstract book is ready.
If you arrive in Tampere before the actual Re-City conference, you are warmly welcome to join the Open Day program on 29 October. See the program of the Open Day here: Open Day.
A separate message will be sent to the PhD students attending the PhD Seminar on 29 October: PhD Seminar.

Note that some of the Open Day events require a separate registration (TULE seminar; the registration for the PhD Seminar is closed).

General information
The locations of the Radical Care for the City week venues are listed here: Venues
Venue: The Re-City Conference will be organized at the Main Building of Tampere University (address: Kalevantie 4). EDIT: Lunches are served in the YO Restaurant in the Main Building. The lunch is included in the conference fee; please show your name tag to the cashier.
Thursday evening program: Tampere City Reception takes place at the Vapriikki Museum (Alaverstaanraitti 5). Re-City Conference Dinner is served in Finlayson Palace (Kuninkaankatu 1). Registration for both the reception and dinner has been done when registering for the Re-City Conference. The registration is marked on your name tag. Please show your name tag at the entrances.

On-site registration: There will be a registration table in the main lobby of the Tampere University Main Building (Kalevantie 4), where you will get your name tag for the conference. The registration table is open on Thursday 30 October from 9:30 until 12:30. If you arrive later, you can get your name tag from Auditorium A1 during breaks. Please note that you need your name tag for lunches and the possible City Reception & Re-City dinner on Thursday.
We do not provide a supervised coatroom at the conference.

Online participation: The link will be sent to the online participants one week prior to the conference.
Information for the presenters: You can find your own slot in the sessions-specific schedule at the end of the Re-City Conference program page: Schedule. The instructions for presentations have been sent to the first authors of abstracts earlier, and you can find them also here: Sessions. Remember to send your presentation for the chairs of your theme by Tuesday 28 October.
