ATUT and Re-City offer several publication options for those presenting their papers at the conferences. Please note that the publication process is separate from the conferences, and suggesting an abstract or presenting the paper does not guarantee their acceptance. The editors will invite full papers separately to each publication.
The first publication option of ATUT is a book chapter contribution for a peer-reviewed book in Routledge, co-edited by Dr. Raúl Castaño and Prof. Sofie Pelsmakers from the research group ASUTUT Sustainable Housing Design. Only suitable abstracts/papers presented in the ATUT symposium will be invited to the publication process. The book chapter submission deadline is on 16 January 2026.
The second publication option of ATUT is a full paper for peer-review in the journal Architectural Research in Finland (ARF). The submission process to ARF is independent from ATUT, and presenters who wish to submit will do so individually after the symposium according to the given instructions they receive from ARF Editors.
The invitation to submit a full paper has been sent to potential authors via Radical Care email on 27 October 2025. The deadline for full paper submissions is on 31 December 2025.

The publication option of Re-City is a book chapter contribution for a peer-reviewed DATUTOP book co-edited by Riina Lundman and the Democracy Research Network at Tampere University. Presenters who wish to submit the book chapter will mark this in the abstract submission form, and the editors will invite the suitable abstracts/papers for the book after the Re-City Conference.
The DATUTOP book chapter submission deadline is on 31 March 2026. The submission instructions will be added on the DATUTOP Re-City website in November 2025.
