The seminar will be an in-person event held on 21-22 June 2022.
The venue site is Solo Sokos Hotel Torni Tampere, Ratapihankatu 43, opposite Tampere railway station. The seminar will be held at the Paja Kongressi building.
The seminar will feature both invited plenary presentations and three or four parallel sessions. The language of the seminar is English.
There will be a few exhibitors inside the Paja Kongressi and one outside the hotel. Trains also run in the immediate vicinity of the Paja Kongressi.
Dinner
The Dinner will be enjoyed at Restaurant Näsinneula, Laiturikatu 1, Tampere. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel for Dinner. The bus leaves the front of the hotel at around 18:00 and 18:30. Return transfer to the hotel after Dinner. If you wish, you can try Tampere’s new tram Line 3 to Pyynikintori and continue walking to Näsinneula (13 min walk). Local bus also has convenient access to the Särkänniemi stop, close to the Restaurant Näsinneula.
Guidance for presenters
Presentations are held in the Paja Kongressi, Torni Hotel Tampere. The plenary sessions are held in the main hall and the exact rooms for parallel sessions will be announced in the final program.
Duration of presentation in parallel session is 17 minutes and 3 minutes is allocated for discussion. Do not exceed your total time of 20 minutes. The session chairperson will indicate to you when you have 3 minutes left and will stand up when your time is over.
Be present in your lecture hall 10 minutes before your session and identify yourself by approaching your session chairperson. There will be a laser pointer available in each lecture hall. Make sure that you are familiar with the equipment before your session starts. The session chairperson and a Tampere University person will be available to assist you.

Submit your presentation file (ppt, pptx or pdf) to your personal submission form here before June 15th 2022. If you do not have an existing submission form, please use the abstract form. Take the presentation file with you on a USB flash drive in case of any problems. Check that the presentation file is on the computer in your lecture hall not later than 10 minutes before your session.
If requested, the presentation file will be deleted by a Tampere University person after your session. Otherwise a pdf copy of your file will be uploaded on the seminar website after the seminar.
