How to get there
Many airlines, especially Air Baltic, fly to Riga International Airport.
Public transport
From the airport, take bus 22. The bus stop is located just outside the exit of the airport. Get off the bus at “Slokas iela”. There is about 1,2km walk from the bus stop to the university. If you wish to get closer, you have to change bus, see the journey planner at https://saraksti.lv/#plan//en
A single ticket is valid for 90 minutes, including transfers between buses, trolleybuses, and trams. Each time you board a new vehicle, the ticket must be validated again. There are also cheap day and multi-day tickets. Tickets can be purchased:
• Via the Mobilly or Rīgas satiksme mobile apps
• At ticket machines or Narvesen kiosks in the airport and city
• You can also buy a single ticket from the driver and pay using a bank/credit card.
Taxis
Alternatively, take a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport to the university. Bolt Taxi App is recommended. How it works:
• Download the Bolt app on your smartphone (available on iOS and Android).
• Link your debit or credit card to the app.
• The ride price is shown in advance before you confirm the trip.
• Payment is handled automatically through the app after the ride.
