Industry afternoon session aims in improving the collaboration between health technology industry especially in Pirkanmaa area and local research institutes Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences as well as soon starting Pirkanmaa Welfare County (Pirkanmaa Hyvinvointialue, PirHA). A selected set of the services and research infrastructures of the aforementioned institutes will be presented as short pitches followed by a panel discussion with industry representatives. The panel discussion focuses on the wishes and needs of the industry for the university research collaboration and education.
The Industry afternoon session is followed by a poster session where also 15 research service providers and infrastructures from the aforementioned three organizations are presenting their services.
The industry afternoon session is organized by Growth from Health and Wellbeing -project, coordinated by Tampere University of Applied Sciences and partnered by Tampere University and the City of Tampere (PirHA from 1.1.2023 onwards.) The project is funded by the Council of Tampere Region (Pirkanmaan liitto) through national regional development funds
