Parking at Hervanta campus
Parking in the car parks costs €1/hour on weekdays from 8 am. to 6 am.. Parking outside these hours is free. Parking in the parking garage costs €1/hour at all times. There are two parking meters located in the car parks that are available for visitors. The meters accept coins and credit and debit cards. In the parking garage, the only payment options are the eParking, EasyPark, Parkman and Moovy applications.
The other car parks are reserved for staff and students and require a permit. Traffic wardens monitor the car parks. Please agree on service traffic or other exceptional parking arrangements in advance.
Parking permits for Tampere University campuses are handled by eParking.

Short-term parking spaces are available for buses on the east side of Päärakennus (access via Hervannantie street).
Arriving on Hervanta campus by bike
Arriving on campus by bike is easy and fast. Find the most suitable cycling route in Nysse’s route guide. You can also familiarise yourself with Tampere’s cycling maps (in Finnish).
City bikes can be used every year from 15 April to 31 October. The station network reaches every campus, which also facilitates moving between the campuses.
Check out the current information about city bike stations and the price list. To use the city bikes, you need the Tampere city bikes app, which you use to register as a city bike user and pay for the use of the bike. You can download the app from Google Play or the App Store.
