Details about workshop sessions
Three same parallel workshop sessions A, B and C organized:
- 11:00-12:00
AND
- 14:30-15:30.
The content of the sessions is similar in morning and afternoon sessions.
At the same time, there will also be poster presentations. For example, you can spend the morning exploring the posters and join the sessions in the afternoon. You are free to move between the sessions and poster presentations as you like.

NABC model (a model for structuring research pitches and presentations) is introduced and explained and demonstrated. NABC model identifies the need, outlines the approach, highlights the benefits, and considers the competition or alternatives and helps to communicate the research work also to non-academic audience, e.g. company representatives. We will also hear from an alumnus who has moved into industry, as he shares his personal experiences and insights.

Strengthening Wellbeing at Work

Welcome to a workshop where we take time to reflect on the importance of wellbeing at work and explore ways to enhance it. We’ll begin with a short introduction covering Tampere University’s vision for well-being at work and the key factors influencing well-being. After the introduction, we’ll move into a more interactive part of the session, which includes group discussions and individual reflection. Participants will explore what aspects of well-being they can personally influence and will create a brief personal well-being plan — practical ideas for what they could do differently in the future to support their own wellbeing.

The doctoral programme staff will give a brief introduction covering key aspects of the programmes, including recent and upcoming changes to study guidelines, dissertation instructions, and the examination process.After the presentation, you’re welcome to stay for informal discussion and Q&A — no formal agenda, just an opportunity to exchange thoughts. -
14:30 –15:30: Meet the ENS Support Experts
This session is your chance to connect with the people who keep our research operations running smoothly. They’ll be available to answer any questions related to research support services.
