Posters

A poster session will be arranged during the ENS Science day 2025. The poster exhibition will be built to poster walls provided by event organizers.

If you would like to present a poster at the event, please follow these steps:

  1. Register for the Science Day by October 24 (if you haven’t already): Register for ENS Science Day
  1. Have a chat with your supervisor about presenting, and sign up as a poster presenter by Friday, October 24thPoster session registration
  1. Sign up to a poster training session, registration DL October 10th. Session held on October 21st.
    1. Create a poster of your PhD work. Templates available here: TUNI_poster_template_arial or  TUNI_poster_template  or

      matching latex template link.

    1. Please remember that most of the audience are not subject matter experts in your field, so try to make the content understandable also for people outside your field of expertise.
  1. Upload your poster (as a pdf, max size 10MB) for printing by Monday, November 24thPoster upload here
    Please submit the finished poster in .pdf format.  This can be done from file -> save as -> choose filetype as .pdf from the dropdown menu. If you are doing a test print on A4 for example, please do this from the pdf version of the file; printing direct from PowerPoint will lead to undesired color artefacts for images with transparent backgrounds.
  1. Prepare your elevator pitch for the event – and most importantly, have fun!

Also, please be aware that creating a poster can be time consuming, so do not leave it til the last minute! If you wish to present, start creating the content for your poster today!

About presenting the posters during Science Day:

Last names starting with A–L: You are scheduled as morning session presenters. Last names starting with M–Ö: You are scheduled as afternoon poster presenters.
