ENS Science Day

We are excited to invite you to ENS Science Day 2025, the 4th Science Day of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences which is arranged for the faculty staff.

This year’s theme, “Doctoral Education at ENS Faculty,” brings together doctoral students, faculty members, and researchers for a full day of inspiration, learning, and connection.

The interactive program features:

Poster sessions showcasing research at ENS

Interactive session related to career, wellbeing and work life (detailed topics to be confirmed later) to enhance your academic and professional skills

Engaging discussions on the doctoral pilots at ENS and future of doctoral education

Networking opportunities with peers and colleagues

The event will take place at Hotel Scandic Rosendahl Hotel conference venue on 18th December 2025 from 10 am to 4 pm. The chair of the ENS Science Day 2025 is Vice Dean for Research Minnamari Vippola.

More information about the poster preparation and a separate registration link will be sent to poster session presenters later in the autumn.

An evening get-together party will follow the Science Day. We invite you to join the dinner event and celebrate the success of the vibrant ENS community in Scandic Rosendahl from 6:30 pm (registration starts at 6 pm).

The ENS Science Day and the Get Together Party are free of charge. The events are open only for the personnel of the ENS faculty, and needs registration. You can register for both events or just one. Please note that the poster session presenters have to register their posters separately.
