Reducing the carbon footprint
Tampere University’s City Centre Campus is conveniently located within walking distance of the railway and bus stations and most hotels. We encourage participants to use public transportation.
Pre‑registration is required to minimise food waste at event. We have aimed to make recycling as easy as possible, and our facilities include several waste‑sorting points. We keep all materials to a minimum.
Accessibility and social sustainability
At the university campuses, accessibility is ensured by various means (e.g. ramps, elevators, automatic doors, accessible toilets). We ensure that all communication and information is accessible for all participants. We offer simultaneous interpretation into English for the panel conducted in Finnish.
The activities are guided by Tampere University’s principles for safer spaces.
If you experience any inappropriate behavior or harassment during the event, please inform the staff as soon as possible.
