About the seminar

Age Matters! is a seminar that applies interdisciplinary social science, humanities and cultural studies lens on age and ageing. The core focus is on lived experiences and cultural representations of age and ageing and the impact of ageing on social relationships, culture, and communities.

This seminar brings together researchers broadly from the fields of social and cultural gerontology to discuss their current research and to explore the opportunities for future collaboration.

We welcome researchers at every career stage to share their work and take part in critical debates on age and ageing. Researchers are also encouraged to present their ongoing research. Please note that this seminar will be on-site only.
