Instructions for participants
Individual presentations
The time allocated for individual presentations is 30 minutes: 20 min. for presentation + 10 min. for discussion. Each session’s chairperson is responsible for time management.
Each session room is equipped with a computer, a data projector and a sound transmission system. Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive/memory stick and upload it on the session room’s computer before the beginning of your session; this will help ensure smooth transitions between presentations.
If you intend to use your own computer, please inform the session’s chairperson of this in advance. If you are using a Mac computer, please bring your own adapter in order to connect your laptop to the data projector.
Poster presentations
The poster session takes place during the first coffee break on Friday at 10.15–11.00 a.m. in the Pinni B lobby. The recommended size for posters is A0 in portrait orientation. The posters can be set up on Friday morning (or potentially already on Thursday evening). During the poster session, poster presenters are asked to stand beside their poster and be prepared to discuss their work with those interested.
Thematic workshops
Each thematic workshop’s convenors are primarily responsible for the workshop’s practical arrangements. The workshop premises have the same equipment as individual presentation rooms (computer, projector, sound). For further information about a workshop, please contact the convenor(s).
All symposium premises are accessible. There are lockable lockers at your disposal.
