Call for workshops

The Call for Workshops for the 2026 FPSA Annual Conference is now open and will remain open until Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

Those proposing workshops are requested to fill out a form and submit it to the organizing committee. When proposing a workshop, you must provide a workshop name and a brief description (a maximum of 2000 characters) of the theme. In addition, the name and contact details of the workshop convener must be provided on the form. There may be more than one convener for a workshop, in which case their contact details must also be included in the proposal. If the working group plans to meet only on Thursday or Friday, or on both days, this can be indicated in advance, along with the likely number of presentations known beforehand.

The organizing committee emphasizes that the workshop does not need to be directly related to the overall theme of the event. It is more important that the workshop can be organized with a sufficient number of participants. The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel or merge proposed workshops for which no paper presenters other than the organizers have registered.

Once the workshops have been confirmed, a Call for Papers will be announced at the end of January 2026. The workshop leaders are ultimately responsible for approving the presentations/papers for their workshops. Paper presenters register directly by email with the workshop leaders, who report the composition of their workshop as well as their space requirements after the Call for Papers has ended.

The workshop organizer will confirm the presenters’ participation and inform the participants about the practical details of the workshop.
