Participation fees
Normal fee 150 EUR
PhD students, unemployed 60 EUR
Dinner 65 EUR
The participation fees include the scientific programme, scheduled coffee breaks and lunches, and the reception on 13 August. The dinner on 14 August costs 65 EUR. The fees are VAT 0 % (VAT will not be added).
Payment
The participation fee(s) and possible dinner fee(s) are paid when registering for the event. The payment is made with a credit card (no additional charges). A payment receipt will be sent to you by email. Participants living in Finland and having Finnish banking options can also choose invoicing (bank transfer) or online banking as their payment method. The system sends the invoice automatically after the registration has been completed. Please make sure that the invoicing details are accurate.
Cancellation policy
According to sustainability principles and to avoid food waste, please cancel your registration if you cannot attend the conference or the social events. For cancellations received by 23 July 2025, the paid participation fees will be fully refunded. No refund will be made for cancellations made after this date. No refunds will be made for no-shows. The eventual dinner fee will not be refunded separately if a participant cancels their participation to the dinner. Participation that has already been registered can be transferred to another person from the same organisation without any extra charge. Cancellations and requests for refunds and registration transfers must always be made by email to congress@tuni.fi.
