Life 2021

COVID-19 UPDATE – LIFE 2021 HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 2022

Due to the ongoing pandemic, and the many uncertainties that it has created for travel and events management, the organizers of Life 2021 have reluctantly decided that it is not possible to arrange the congress for this September. Instead it has been postponed for a full year.

LIFE 2022 WILL BE HELD FROM 28 AUGUST – 2 SEPTEMBER 2022

All of the elements of the congress have been retained, although we obviously need to reconfirm with all of the symposium speakers and chairs, as well as the workshop convenors, to make sure they can fit in with the new dates.

For all enquiries about the postponement, please contact us at congress@tuni.fi and we will do our best to provide quick answers.

Life 2022 is a global congress of the life sciences, to be held in Tampere, Finland at the end of summer 2022 (28 August-2 September). Organized with EMBO, Life 2022 will showcase cutting-edge research in cell and developmental biology, metabolism, neuroscience, immunity, molecular medicine and evolution. It will comprise symposia featuring international research leaders, participatory workshops addressing real-world issues, and social events with a special Finnish flair. It will be an opportunity for Europe’s life scientists to meet, network and develop our ideas and careers together. Life 2022 will include a half-day showcase exhibition and symposium open to the public, free of charge, on the theme of ‘Future Medicine – for People and the Planet’.
