COVID-19 UPDATE – LIFE 2020 HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 2021
Due to the ongoing pandemic, and the many uncertainties that it has created for travel and events management, the organizers of Life 2020 have reluctantly decided that it is not possible to arrange the congress for this September. Instead it has been postponed for a full year, to fit in best with the calendar of other events that will be rescheduled for similar reasons.
LIFE 2021 WILL BE HELD FROM 29 AUGUST – 3 SEPTEMBER 2021
All of the elements of the congress have been retained, although we obviously need to reconfirm with all of the symposium speakers and chairs, as well as the workshop convenors, to make sure they can fit in with the new dates.
For all enquiries about the postponement, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to provide quick answers.
Life 2021 is a global congress of the life sciences, to be held in Tampere, Finland at the end of summer 2021 (29 August-3 September). Organized with EMBO, Life 2021 will showcase cutting-edge research in cell and developmental biology, metabolism, neuroscience, immunity, molecular medicine and evolution. It will comprise symposia featuring international research leaders, participatory workshops addressing real-world issues, and social events with a special Finnish flair. It will be an opportunity for Europe’s life scientists to meet, network and develop our ideas and careers together. Life 2021 will include a half-day showcase exhibition and symposium open to the public, free of charge, on the theme of ‘Future Medicine – for People and the Planet’. Early-bird registration for the main congress will be open from January 2021, and we will start registering participants for the public-access event in the early summer. So browse the site, see what there is in Life 2021 for you, and plan on joining us.
