Heli Helanummi-Cole, Policy Fellow in Entrepreneurship, SaÏd Business School, University of Oxford

Heli Helanummi-Cole is a Policy Fellow in Entrepreneurship at the Said Business School, University of Oxford. Her PhD research completed at Oxford in 2018 explored the entrepreneurial ventures that were founded by ex-Nokia employees within the Nokia Bridge outplacement programme. Prior to her doctorate, Heli held various management positions in high technology and acted as a board advisor for a London-based 3D printing company. Heli’s research interests include entrepreneurial systems, innovation, technology strategy, FinTech and venture failure. She has been awarded the Economic and Social Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship, Saïd Business School Foundation Scholarship and Balliol College Lady Dervorguilla Scholarship for her work. At Oxford, Heli tutors undergraduates in entrepreneurship, innovation and business ethics. She holds an MBA from London Business School and an MSc from Tampere University.
