Focused on recent progress in high-speed modulators for semiconductor lasers, this workshop will review state-of-the-art solutions and their applications in datacom and telecom systems. It will provide insights into integration strategies and performance benchmarks critical for next-generation optical communication.

Organized in collaboration with the Finnish Chips Competence Centre, this workshop aims to boost awareness of infrastructure development programs and foster collaboration between semiconductor chip initiatives, including EU pilot lines. The session will explore synergies between photonics and microelectronics to accelerate innovation and industrial adoption.
