All attendees must register with the registration form provided below and receive a name tag at the conference to participate in the conference activities. Please read through the registration instructions carefully before registering. If you encounter any problems with registration or payment, please email ilcec2025@tuni.fi.

Please choose the correct line in the registration form, “Normal registration”, “PhD students” etc., and insert the amount of people you are registering in the field “Amount”, e.g. “1” if you register only yourself.
Participation fees
The registration fee includes the symposium programme, coffee breaks, lunches, the conference dinner, the city of Tampere reception and transportation to all social activities. All the fees are VAT 0 % (VAT will not be added).
Normal registration: 500 EUR
PhD students: 300 EUR
The conference dinner on 13 August for an accompanying person: 80 EUR (incl. a 3-course dinner with drinks)
Sauna evening on 14 August: 35 EUR (same fee applies to an accompanying person)
Note 1: The amount of sauna places is limited to 80. Preference will be given to invited speakers and foreign participants.
Note 2: The registration fee does not include the hotel accommodation. Please see the pre-booked quotas and instructions here.
Payment instructions
The participation fee(s) and possible dinner fee(s) are paid when registering for the event. The payment is made with a credit card (no additional charges). A payment receipt will be sent to you by e-mail. If invoicing (bank transfer) is needed, please contact congress@tuni.fi.
Cancellation policy
According to sustainability principles and to avoid food waste, please cancel your registration if you cannot attend the conference or the social events. For cancellations received by 19 June 2025, the paid participation fees will be fully refunded. No refund will be made for cancellations made after this date. No refunds will be made for no-shows. The eventual dinner and/or sauna fee will not be refunded separately if a participant cancels their participation to these activities. Participation that has already been registered can be transferred to another person from the same organisation without any extra charge. Cancellations and requests for refunds and registration transfers must always be made by email to ilcec2025@tuni.fi.
