Getting around Tampere

Tampere offers excellent public transport connections. Both the Hervanta campus and the Kauppi campus are easily accessible by both bus and tram. The city centre campus is located within a short walking distance of Tampere Hall, which is one of the main venues. In addition to public transport, a dedicated shuttle bus service will operate between Tampere Hall and the Hervanta and Kauppi campuses during Homecoming Day. A day ticket for local public transport will be offered to all participants.

Shuttle bus between the campuses and Tampere Hall

Shuttle buses will run from Tampere Hall to both the Hervanta campus and the Kauppi campus after the keynote seminar. Return transport to Tampere Hall will be provided after the afternoon programme concludes on these campuses.

We will notify participants when advance registration for the shuttle service opens.

Public transport day ticket (tram and bus)

All participants will be offered a day ticket for local public transport that is valid throughout the day of the event. Tickets will be distributed at the registration desk upon arrival.
