RDI Keynote: The world has changed but we the people remain: Post-pandemic norms in higher Education?

Dr James Brunton is Assistant Professor and Chair of the DCU Connected Psychology Major programme, which is an online, open education undergraduate programme, at Dublin City University. James is a Chartered Psychologist (C. Psychol., Ps.S.I.; C. Work & Org. Psychol. Ps.S.I.; CPsychol BPS), an Advance HE Senior Fellow (SFHEA), and an EDEN (European Distance Education Network) Fellow. James’ research interests include the psychology of identity, socialisation/orientation processes, online learning design, open pedagogy, and digital assessment. His research has been published in journals such as Studies in Higher Education, Open Learning: The Journal of Open, Distance and e-Learning, Open Praxis, and Educational Media International. James is currently the principal investigator/DCU principal investigator on a number of locally and EU funded projects focused on themes of: online learning design and practice; and open education/widening participation in Higher Education.

The aim is to discuss and exchange ideas on pushing the internal development of science communication. RDI teams from TAMK and Ostfalia UAS (Germany) present best practices and compare different methods and tools in this field. All participants are invited to actively engage in the debate.
