Introducing Research Creation as a Methodological Framework for Research
Facilitator: Camila Da Rosa Ribeiro
Time: November 6, at 15-18
Venue: Tampere University, City Center Campus, Main Building, B110 Room 1
This workshop introduces participants to research creation, an approach that integrates artistic practice with academic research. The session offers an alternative to conventional research techniques by focusing on how art-making and thought co-emerge. Designed for researchers, educators, and practitioners, interested in how creative processes such as drawing, storytelling, and performance can become generative forces in research itself, not just as tools for data collection, analysis, or dissemination. In this workshop, participants will engage with research as an unfolding process, experimenting with new forms of inquiry and sharing emergent methods.
The evening continues with a relaxed and informal program.
This workshop is organized for PhD researchers and is free of charge. Please register here!
