Registration and fees

All attendees must register with the registration form provided below and receive a name tag at the conference in order to participate in the conference activities. Please read through the registration instructions carefully before registering. If you encounter any kind of problems with registration or payment, please send email to erc2025@tuni.fi.

Registration

Please use this form to register by 13 April 2025.

Participation fees

The registration fee includes the symposium programme, coffee breaks, lunches, the conference dinner, the welcome reception, and the sauna evening. All the fees are VAT 0 % (VAT will not be added).

Normal registration: 400 EUR
PhD students: 250 EUR
The symposium dinner on 11 June for an accompanying person: 100 EUR (incl. a 3-course dinner with drinks)
Tallinn excursion on 13-14 June: 150 EUR (same fee applies to an accompanying person)

The Tallinn excursion includes:

  • Transfer from Conference place to Helsinki Harbour
  • Ferry tickets Helsinki-Tallin-Helsinki 13-14 June
  • Hotel stay (1 night, 13-14 June)
  • Transfer Tallin Harbour – Hotel 13 June and back 14 June
  • 1.5-hour guided excursion in Tallin old town 13 June
  • Dinner in authentic restaurant Olde Hansa in Tallin old town 13 June

Note 1: The amount of Tallinn trip places is limited to 60. Preference will be given to invited speakers and foreign participants.

Note 2: The registration fee does not include the hotel accommodation. After we receive your registration fee, we provide you a promocode and instructions how to book the hotel at a reduced price within a pre-booked quota by the conference organisers.

Payment instructions

The participation fee(s) and possible dinner and excursion fee(s) are paid when registering for the event. The payment is made with a credit card (no additional charges). A payment receipt will be sent to you by email. Participants living in Finland and having Finnish banking options can also choose invoicing (bank transfer) or online banking as their payment method. The system sends the invoice automatically after the registration has been completed. Please make sure that the invoicing details are accurate.

Cancellation policy

According to sustainability principles and to avoid food waste, please cancel your registration if you cannot attend the conference or the social events. For cancellations received by 8 May 2025, the paid participation fees will be fully refunded. No refund will be made for cancellations made after this date. No refunds will be made for no-shows. The eventual dinner fee will not be refunded separately if the participant cancels their participation to the conference dinner. Participation that has already been registered can be transferred to another person from the same organisation without any extra charge by contacting erc2025@tuni.fi. Cancellations and requests for refunds and registration transfers must always be made by email to erc2025@tuni.fi.

Certificate of attendance

If you require a certificate of attendance from your conference participation, you can request it from the conference organizers during the event at the registration desk. Certificates will not be sent or provided automatically, so be sure to collect yours at the conference venue.
