Ballroom dances are an essential part of the Conferment Celebration. In the evening of Saturday 7 June, the promovendis perform a polonaise, slow waltz, Cicapo and Lambeth Walk.
We will arrange ballroom dance rehearsals for promovendis and their avecs in May on the City centre campus and the Hervanta campus. Professors and their avecs attending the Conferment Banquet and Celebration are also welcome.
Due to the large number of dancers, it is important that everyone has an idea in advance of what and how to dance. We hope that everyone who participates in the ballroom dances of the Conferment Celebration will attend a rehearsal at least once. Please note: The rehearsals will not be videotaped and thus no recordings will be available.

City centre campus, Atalpa, Ratapihankatu 55, rehearsals at 16.00–17.00
