It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the second Sino-Germany-Finland Life Sciences Forum, hosted at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology, Tampere University. We are thrilled to have you join us for this research event, which promises to be a remarkable gathering of minds in the field of life sciences.
This year’s forum will focus on the applications of cutting-edge bioinformatics and medical informatics methods in biomedicine. We have an exciting lineup of presentations and discussions that will explore the latest advancements and innovations in these fields. Your participation and contributions will undoubtedly enrich the dialogue and foster new collaborations.
Reflecting on the history of our forum, the first event was held in Chengdu, China, in 2024. It was a resounding success, featuring talks from 19 principal investigators and 8 young researchers from around the world, including China, Finland, the US, Australia, and Germany. The event attracted an impressive online audience of over 200,000 viewers. Participants not only engaged in fruitful scientific discussions but also immersed themselves in the local culture and cuisine of Chengdu, experiencing the Sichuan Drama, Wuhou Temple, and the modern city life.
We are confident that this year’s forum will build on the success of the previous event and provide an even more enriching experience for all attendees. We look forward to your active participation and to the stimulating exchanges that will take place over the course of the forum.
